"José Martí" Secondary School, allocated in the Municipality of "Old Habana", is the experimental center where the important researches are implemented and their impact in the students' learning is evaluated. In this center are 789 students and there is a staff of 104 workers.
This institution is characterized by the 99% of school retention and very good academic results. The most important awards won by this center include "Outstanding Center" at national level and "Outstanding Center in the Pioneers' work"

La Escuela Secundaria Básica "José Martí", situada en el municipio capitalino Habana Vieja, es el centro experimental donde se instrumentan las importantes investigaciones y se evalúa el impacto de las mismas en el aprendizaje de los escolares. Cuenta con un colectivo integrado por 789 alumnos y 104 trabajadores.
La institución se caracteriza por el 99% de retención escolar y buenos resultados académicos. Entre los importantes reconocimientos recibidos a la calidad de la labor que desarrollan se encuentran: "Vanguardia Nacional" y "Vanguardia en el trabajo Pioneril"
